After lazing away on the beach for a while, we decided to finally get some things done. We were literally camped behind the dentist’s office, so that was easy. I took the bus to a local soldadura and had the muffler hole (from the broken engine mount problem back in San Diego) welded up. About 5 bucks for the welder. Ten bucks for the dental checkup and cleaning.
Since we were out on the town, we decided to check out some of the other camping options. North of town is the venerable Kiki’s, so we pulled in for a few nights. Gringo kids, treehouses, ‘clean’ bathrooms, wifi and free clams were on the agenda.
