It wasn’t a Tuesday

Before we knew it, we were all on a midnight flight to Mexico City.

I often give the Random Tuesday explanation whenever someone asks about what we’re doing next. Of course, even that explanation can’t be correct.

We called Angela’s mother to check-in and were hit some some shocking news. Only hours removed.

Unexpectedly, Angela’s father passed away.

We flew to Houston as quickly as possible and have now been here several days. It been tough, but it’s also good to be back. We’ll stay here a while and spend time with family and try to be useful. Bode has already claimed that he will move in with his cousins and we can return to South America without him (he’s serious).

Just last week I was joking that nothing has changed in years. Now, so much changed in just a few days.

Sorry for your loss! One of the worse things which can happen when far away from home…
Q: was the last picture taken from the Heidelberg castle in Germany? (I seem to have a photographic memory…)

So sorry to hear about your lost. I am Ruby Hardin Williams. Weldon’s Hardin’s daughter that is your dads cousin on your grandmother’s side. I know it is hard when losing your father. We lost my dad in June. What makes the pain easier is knowing that some day you will see him again. Also knowing they are reunited with family watching over all of us here. God Bless You and Your Family!!!

How devistating. I dread the day i’m on the other end of that phone call. My heart goes out to you and your family and hope Angela’s dad enjoyed living vicariously through your travels as much as we do. Blessings to you all
