Around the Isla

Luca and Zeph were staying at our place, so early the next morning Bode and Luca were climbing rocks, setting booby traps (Scooby Doo style) and setting up picnics for themselves. In the afternoon, the 5 of us went down to the beach on the other side of the island and then for a hike to see a surprisingly small sacred rock. We met up with more Rainbow folks and enjoyed the afternoon wandering around the island. This place is incredibly peaceful and the locals are very friendly – a nice combination.

The Incans believed that the sun was created on this island. Isla de la Luna is a short boat ride away – convenient that the moon and sun were created so close together.
