Quinault

After a day or two, you’ll never guess who showed up at our campground. We really need to make a bigger effort to hide from¬†these guys in the future ūüėČ

We decided to take one more peek into Olympic National Park and headed towards the Hoh Rainforest. Really cool hikes and free camping just outside the park at a NFS campground.

We continued down the coast and were looking for camping around Lake Quinault when we realized we were being followed. I figured it was going to be a park ranger telling us to make like a tree, but it turned out to be out buddy Brian. He was out looking at campsites too, but not to camp Рhe was working. He and Leigh are the proprietors of Campendium Рa great resource for campers Рand they take it seriously.

Since he’s a pro, they had already set up their Airstream for the week at a beachfront casino with free camping – and we were invited to happy hour. Decision made. It turns out you don’t have to go wandering around looking for a good place to camp¬†– you can use Campendium – or, just ask Brian.

Also, don’t forget to click one of the Amazon links here before¬†you order anything¬†from them. It doesn’t matter what you buy¬†– we’ll get a commission for sending you there (at no cost to you). Thanks! Every little bit helps!
