Climbing and Lingering

We lingered around Port Townsend for at least a week. Great funky little town. I can’t recall ever seeing buskers with their own pianos, but there were at least two of them here. And, we all got to hang with our friends a bit longer, so we were in no hurry to leave.

No visit is complete without a trip to Fort Worden. Plenty of old rusty stuff to climb on. Moldy concrete bunkers to crawl through. It’s even a good place to grab a quick shower.

This is the first time we’ve been able to spend a good deal of time in Washington and explore at a leisurely pace. We like it. It’s kinda like California, but without all the crowds or pretentiousness.

Summers in Washington – yeah, I could see that.
