Hope and Kenai Fjord
They next stop on Grammy’s visit was the quaint town (pop. 200) of Hope, Alaska. True Alaska!
We spent a fun evening at the Sea View Cafe, where the locals and tourist congregate. It was the only place open for dinner, and it was good.
The next day, we drove a little farther to the Southeast, to Kenai Fjords National Park. A short hike got us right up to a raging river carrying million year old ice chunks from the glacier. A bit farther on, we got up close to it.
Bode earned another Junior Ranger badge.
