49th State
With Fairbanks in our rearview, we headed to Healy. More specifically, 49th State Brewery. 49th State is home of the Into the Wild movie bus.
It has photos and journal entries on the walls, and was actually pretty interesting.
I’m pretty sure I’ll always remember which state came before Hawaii.
Those snow track vehicles in the second picture are VW powered, they have a type 1 motor in them, in the front, facing backwards! pretty cooll rigs. they are called Snow Cats if you ever see any more 😉
