Twelve Miles of Montana

And it took us two days.

Hebgen Lake – not yet open for the season so the camping is free. We actually made money on the deal – someone left 15 cents on our table.

When we arrived in the afternoon, there were a few fly fisherman about, but then they left it to us for the evening. It was a really peaceful spot where we could watch bison on the far bank, wild swans, bald eagles and a mischievous river otter all while sitting on a camp chair.

Jason got a chance to work on a few bus issues, including fixing our leaking water container – again. Bode got to fish and shoot his BB gun. He pulled up a trout, but it wiggled off the hook. I got to read and take it easy. We were all pretty happy here – a great spot.
