Yellowstone

We entered Yellowstone from the east on the first day of the season. First stop was a mostly-frozen lake.

Bode really didn’t want to get dressed that day. Sometimes, it’s nice to be able to say okay, no problem. Pajamas it is.

The animals weren’t aware that the park was opening today, and they seemed to be everywhere.

We were overlooking a waterfall when an entire tour bus-load of Chinese tourists ran up to the viewing platform, took a couple of photos and ran back down to the bus. The whole thing took less than a minute. That’s some schedule their keeping. We took it a little easier and found a killer campsite at the north end of the park.

So all of the Chinese tourists saw Bode in his PJs? Ha. Ha.
