Punta Lobos

Punta Lobos is a few kilometers south of town. It’s a big wide open beach where the local fisherman head out through the waves each morning. SomeĀ lobos are supposed to be on the other side of the rocks. We trust they’re there.

There’s really not much else to see here, except some very large construction equipment and a perfectly graded building site that looks about the size of a big resort hotel. I’m guessing those fisherman may not be here next year.

Hope it’s not so & the fishermen still have access to their “office”….Many years ago I visited Hong Kong during an R&R from Vietnam. Loved all the Chinese junks that populated the harbor…by 1999, my last visit, nary a one was seen between HK & Kowloon. Like missing a whole forest…character of the city had totally changed.

do you remember the Canadian registered 85 Argentinitian T1 the yellow snail caracol juene with a French guy you met in SA somewhere? Well some new French folks bought it and are here at my house prepping for a ride to La Paz, the ferries, and Patagonia. I turned them on to your blog and they hoped to see you on their way south–they found me the same way you did. Do you need any special type two goodies dropped off as they come by? If so let me know.
