Where Everybody Knows Your Name
Although we’ve only been in Loreto about a week, we feel like we know the place pretty well. It’s growing on us a little bit. I think we’d like it more if we were serious pescadores.
We’ve semi-successfully made our own jamaica.
Brent is letting us use his ATV. Bode is getting music lessons at the local gringo bar. We’re very quickly meeting everyone in town. We’ve got a few leads on rental houses, but Todos Santos is calling us back. They’ve got power now and other services will follow soon. Time to go back check on some baby turtles.
Love your website, your photos, and your writing! (Again) Most of what I know about the countries south of the U.S. I learned from you guys, so I’m pretty sure it’s all natural beauty, beaches, beer, tacos and dirt roads. Some day I’ll go see for myself. Have you guys given Bodie a copy of “The Compleat Idiots Guide to Keeping your VW Alive” yet? That book started my career as a mechanic 20 years ago, and, while I might not always think that’s a good thing, someday it might help me enjoy a lifestyle more like yours. Maybe he would enjoy it and Jason could gain a helper. Have fun ! 🙂
yep – that’s pretty much it. Good idea on the Idiot Book. There’s a wrinkled copy in the bus… somewhere.
