Thanks, Thanks, and Thanks!

We met Bruce way back in La Paz, Mexico. That was over four years ago.

As it turns out, Bruce is an expert in anti-corrosion and a supplier to the US military. After all my rusty posts, he was kind enough to offer to help out and sent us a supply of serious rust prevention. It was quite a bit of work, but the underside of Red Beard is now military-grade. Thanks again, Bruce!

Our buddy Mike in Alameda tried sending us some shock absorber upgrades back when we were in Brazil. They got stuck in Houston and never made it down to South America. Now, Read Beard is like a rolling comfy couch! Thanks again, Mike!

And, of course our friends at GoWesty have been a huge help, supplying us with lots of restoration parts to help get Red Beard back into ’71 shape. Our need for a new pop top tent started it all – and now it’s on the bus. I can say with certainty that this tent is far superior quality to our previous tent. And, it’s mold and mildew resistant too. Thanks again, GoWesty!

It’s almost time to get back on the road and resume the journey. To steal/modify a quote from Bruce…

You never see a VW bus parked in front of a psychiatrist’s office.
