It’s a done deal. We’re hooked up for the entire season in Winter Park, Colorado!
The lifts will turn for 130 days. We’re already guessing our total. I’m going with 100. Bode says 130.
Many thanks to everyone who sent us their recommendations. I researched every one of them and it was lots of fun. So many great places – we definitely want to hit some of them in the future.
Four days after deciding we wanted to be in the snow all winter, it just happened – the stars aligned and pointed us to Winter Park. It was too easy. Tonight, it’s a done deal.
Now, back to the bus! We hit the road in two weeks!
Hi guys! Welcome to Colorado ! I met you at illinettes in la saladita Mexico a few years ago. I’ve been living inbetween Encinitas and steamboat springs for 18 years and is my favorite ski town of all. You have to come visit this hidden gem of Colorado. I would love to show you guys around. We have amazing hot springs called strawberry park hot springs, waterfalls, beautifull tree skiing. Lots of friends with kids too for bode. Not talking you out of WP but come check out steamboat! I’m your Facebook friend too.

Jason, Angela and Bode, Sounds like you guys have scored a great situation. Winter Park/Mary Jane has some great skiing/boarding. I believe that season passes at WP/MJ are good for 3 days of skiing at Monarch. If so, come on down and hang out for a couple of days, its usually a lot warmer in Salida.
