Buried Alive!

I try to be a good sport, but every time something in the sand bites me.

On a beach in Brazil, it was some sort of tiny white crustacean. Here, I think it was ants. Beach ants!

This is a great place to be a dog. I’ve recognized the same dogs spending the day at the beach. Napping in the park, and laying around town.  A few of them are so relaxed that they just lay right in the middle of the street when they feel like it. There’s not much traffic, so when a car does eventually come along and stop, the mutts take their time getting up and lazily saunter away. Nobody seems to mind waiting.

There is no stress here.

    Hi guys
Have just slept in after staying up to the wee hours of the morning reading this unreal blog – the Argentina section/s! You are inspirational. Your photos are incredbly charismatic (though I’m no expert) and your written word is grounded yet captivating.

Is there any way I can email you? My family of 4 will be heading off in a motorhome from BA, north to Iguasu, west to Salta, down the Andes all the way to Tierra Del Fuego and then back up the coast. I have a few questions I think you might be able to shed light upon.

Your trip looks amazing. What a cool family! I look forward to reading about your next life chapter…

Hola Familia! After reading your blog the last time back when you were on the river and all sick I could not stop thinking about the quote from Heart of Darkness….the horror….the horror. Sounds like you are starting to feel better and I’m happy for that! Great pics and writing as always. I’m here in Cali having fun with the 66 bug tracking down oil leaks and just general tinkering. Bummer about your fan. Happy trails!
