Doodads

Speaking of easy, one of the things that’s really easy to do in the U.S. is to buy crap. At least time around, it’s a good thing.

I’ve been going down my list from Argentina and have made all sorts of bargain purchases (thank you eBay, and cheap shipping from China).  I tracked down a used low-voltage cutoff (10 amp) for only 2 bucks. I’ll put it in front of our fridge in the bus to prevent it from killing our battery when it gets low – it’s already happened once. I’ve found all sorts of other goodies too – a 600 LED tape and reel on sticky backing should brighten up the pop top. A cheapo windshield washer pump might give us an electric sink (no more hand pump!) and I even tracked down two carb rebuild kits and will give that a whirl when I get back to Lanus.

Only four weeks to go, and I have no intention of looking at Angela or Bode’s pile of stuff to bring back to South America. I don’t even want to know.
