Ok South to Esquel, Futaleufu, to the Carretera Austral Hwy[dirt road] South to Coyhaique, back into Argentinia & South on Routa 40. Coyhaique is a big/large village with spare parts

sounds like a nice trip… but a little too efficient for us! We’re going to skip the ash and go back to Chile for a bit. We don’t want to miss Chiloe, Parque Nacional Hornopirén, etc.

Bruce Conrad says: “Ok South to Esquel, Futaleufu, to the Carretera Austral Hwy[dirt road] South to Coyhaique, back into Argentinia & South on Routa 40.” – DO NOT MISS THE CARRETERRA AUSTRAL (even though it’s a shit road in parts) – beautiful scenery. Coyhaique has free WiFi at the plaza.
