When did you get your bus? Any stories about the previous owner(s) or how/why you obtained it?

We bought the bus in August 2009. It hadn’t been driven in 10 years and was used to store feed for horses.

It’s got a name, right? Any story behind it?

The name of the bus is Double Nickels. We named her that for several reasons: We didn’t expect she would go over 55 and because of this.

Have a favorite memory or trip in the bus?

We only had the one trip, so the whole darn thing was my favorite trip. However, Grand Canyon was pretty spectacular.

Any big VW bus adventures? What’s your dream trip in your Westy?

I love to take her out west to California and then to British Columbia, Canada. However, I’m not sure we’ve budgeted for that trip yet 😉
