The best part of these horns; my parents had them in the back of a closet. The worst part, bull horns are a lot harder to get on a bus than you’d expect.
OMG.. Horns on a VW Van…does this mean you’ve renamed it RedBull?
Looks like you all better get out of Texas before any more of it rubs off on ya…LOL.
Happy Holidays,
Jim
I still think you need to get the UT Longhorn tire cover to complete the Texas portion of your trip, & also in honor of the Longhorns’ trip to Pasadena next month!
OLE !! OLE !!! That looks bad ass! Hope it is secured well as it would be really sad if it fell off rounding a corner in a small town and gored someone. LOL

Mitch’s been trying to convince me that we should get bull horns for Ludwig for a very very long time. I guess he already saw your post. I’m in for it now! Can’t wait to see what kind of pinstripes you’ll get to go with the bull horns.
I think that y’all are awesome. Have fun in your adventures. If you get close to Huntsville, I would love to see you, Jason, and meet your beautiful and I can tell, extremely cool family. BTW, I just bought a Bodeswell shirt and will proudy wear it.
My sister had one of these in the 70s. About ’76 or ’78 they bought a brand new one in yellow … but the original was that same red. Yours looks AWESOME …. nice shiny paint!
We were two adults, 2 kids, and one doberman camping at most a week at a time. We did have a tent that snapped on to the side … but still … short on space! Best of luck to you!
two beefy wood screws. The horns are mounted to a wood block (and wrapped in leather for class.) I drilled two holes into the fiberglass top and then screwed it in from behind with very large washers for extra support. If I ever remove it (probably won’t want to attract this much attention south of the border,) I figure i can fill the holes with epoxy.
beautiful…. freakin’ beautiful. Texas Texas, yeehaw! Have you determined if we are on your way after Texas?
