I grew up in a neighborhood with lots of kids back in the Midwest, but little compares to the onslaught of Trick-or-Treaters as Halloween in Alameda! We too had the joy of the roving bands of visitors from out of town. Holloween night was never much fun as the "kids" would hound us over and over if they liked your candy.
